Paranoid Android is de Radiohead-versie van The Beatles' Happiness Is a Warm Gun en Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Een song die voortdurend allerlei richtingen uitgaat.

De band vond inspiratie voor de songtitel bij het personage Marvin the Paranoid Android in Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
